Location: Chandler Park
Course Info: Sprint Triathlon
  • The swim will take place at Park Lake beach and follow the shoreline for a ¼ mile and exit towards the shelters near the transition area.
  • Bike will take a left out of transition (double fence doors), follow park exit, turn left onto Lake Street, turn right on Hwy P, follow Hwy P until you reach Hwy SS, take right onto Hwy SS, follow Hwy SS until you reach Hwy G, take right onto Hwy G, take right onto Twitchell Road, take left onto E. Bush Road, take right onto Schwantz Road, take left onto Lake Street, take a right on Chandler Park Drive back into transition area. Bike course will be clearly marked with signs and volunteers at every corner.
  • Run Course take a right out of transition (single fence doors), and follow one loop around the park on Chandler Park Drive, take a right on Lake Street, left on Third Street, right on Chestnut Street, left on Spring, left on LaFollette Street, right on Sanborn Street, left on LaFollette Street, left on Oak Street, take a right on Badger Street, left onto Elm Street, go until the turnaround, right onto Badger Street, left onto Oak Street, right on LaFollette Street, right on Sanborn, left on LaFollette, right on Spring Street, right on Chestnut Street, left on Third Street, right on Lake Street, left on Chandler Park Drive. The finish line will be on the left hand side of the park's exit. Run course will be clearly marked with signs and volunteers at every corner.
    More: Maximum field limit is 600 participants. Each athlete will receive a 100% cotton t-shirt, water bottle, running socks and a post meal.
    Directions To Race: From Madison: Take I-39 N / I-90 W. Take the Deforest exit US-51 N via exit 132. Continue on Hwy 51 until it reaches Hwy. 22 N. Stay straight to go onto Hwy 22 N into downtown Pardeeville. Take a right on Lake Street/Hwy. 44, and then a left on Chandler Park Road. Parking is available along the streets.

  • The race takes place on a demanding course with multiple hills.
  • Both runs start near Lake Michigan's shore and wind through the picturesque Marquette Historic District.
  • The bike route heads west for a trip through the vertically challenging Kewaunee River Valley.
  • The race culminates with a sprint to the finish in downtown Kewaunee.

    Swim ¼ mile, Bike 16 miles, Run 3.1 miles
    Location: 120 W. Wisconsin Avenue, Downtown Pewaukee
    Course Info: 1/4 mile swim 15 mile bike 3.1 mile run
  • Swim: The point-to-point swim will be in Lake Pewaukee located downtown Pewaukee. A buoy line will be available to rest on if needed and will serve as a guide for the finish point, which will have a huge balloon arch. Wetsuits are allowed
  • Transition #1: The transition area will be on Wisconsin Avenue, which will be closed off for the event and very close to where the swim out is. This is in front of Transition Cycle. ONLY ONE transition and there will be an area to wash off feet.
  • Bike: The bike course heads out of downtown through quiet neighborhoods that surround the Pewaukee. Then it enters country roads with some hills circling the lake.
  • Transition #2: Same as #1
  • Run: The run will continue in the opposite direction where the bike route ends and runs through the residential streets of Pewaukee. It begins by following the Lake Shore and then circles around the high school and winds back down which is a continuous downhill.
    Directions: This popular event is located west of Milwaukee on 1-94. Pewaukee Lake on a sandy, clean beach located at the heart of downtown Pewaukee. Easy to find.

    Course Info: The courses are a combination of rural and vacation scenic home areas.
  • There are no bicycle racks.
  • Wetsuits are permissible. The water is usually around 72 – 73 degrees.
  • A sag wagon will follow to help anyone who needs it.
  • No support crews will be allowed.
    More: Race Packets may be picked up at the Castle Rock County Park shelter from 6:30-9:00 p.m. on Friday evening.
  • Race registration will reopen at from 6:30-8:15 a.m. Saturday morning at the shelter.
  • A pre-race meeting will be held at 8:30 on the beach and the race will begin at 8:45 a.m.
  • The Award Ceremony will be at 11:00 a.m

    Location: Lake Winneconne Park near Oshkosh
    Course Info: Event supported by many lifeguards and volunteers. Kids swim parallel to the shore in water never above their waist. Helmets must be worn; swim caps are not necessary. Younger kids may be assisted by parents.
    More: Awards will go to the top 3 female and male in each age group. All kids receive a t-shirt, goody bag, and finishers medal. Plenty of treats for all participants after the event.
    Directions To Race: From Hwy 41 (north or south) take Hwy 45 and go west for about 7 miles. Take Hwy 116 to the left towards Winneconne. Drive for about 1 mile. In Winneconne, take a righ at 6th Ave. to Lake Winneconne Park.

    Saturday, August 11, 2007 : Bayfield, Wisconsin: Point to LaPointe Swim to Madeline Island
    Distance: Open Water Swim 2 miles
    Location: Madeline Island Ferry Dock
    Course Info: Race across 2 miles of beautiful and mighty Lake Superior straight to Madeline Island. Start - on beach with immediate entry into the water. Finish - crossing a buoy line in waist deep water. There will be one large buoy at the halfway mark but it will be up to the swimmer to judge the winds and currents of Lake Superior to choose the best course.
    More: Swimming to the island has been a storied feat around Bayfield for decades. Starting with the Ojibwa, individuals of certain skill and daring have swum across the channel to LaPointe - Madeline Island. In 2006, the Friends of the Recreation Center sponsored a community swim where 23 of 24 people made it across on a flat and sunny day, raising $6000 for the local swimming pool. In 2007, the Friends are expanding the event to feature both a community swim and a race. The fastest known time from shore to shore is 47:20.
    Directions: Take Hwy 13 into Bayfield and follow signs to the Madeline Island Ferry dock. The race starts next to the ferry dock.

    Location: Lake Winneconne Park near Oshkosh
    Course Info: Calm Lake Winneconne offers a nice quick swim. The bike course for both events head north on quiet country roads. Run courses are out and back along country roads. Plenty of water stations.

  • The Swim Start is on the west side of Lake Andrea.ALL athletes MUST report to the swim start 15 minutes prior to their scheduled wave start
  • Bikes MUST be WALKED in the Transition area. Mount & dismount zones are outside the transition area. Bikes MAY NOT be removed from the bike transition until the last bike has completed the bike course and exited the transition area for the start of the run.
  • The run course is flat. Water and replacement fluids are available.
