- Run Course: The entire run course takes place on the campgrounds and is well marked. The majority of the course is on the flat, neatly mowed yard of the campgrounds. A portion of the run course is a walking/jogging trail through a field of preserved/endangered prairie wheat. This trail is primarily tightly packed dirt/sand.
- Bike Course: The bike course takes place on open roads. All roads are well paved. The roads will not be closed to traffic. The bike course is absolutely flat.
- Helmets are mandatory and must be properly fastened before mounting your bike.

- The swim is a 300-yard serpentine swim in a 6 lane 25-yard pool.
- The bike course is 18 miles of rolling hills.

- Swim: The swim be a loop in crystal clear, private non-motor use Lake Aspen.
- Bike: The bike leaves the resort and heads onto the gently rolling hills of the surrounding community then returns to the resort.
- Run: The run course is indeed challenging, and very fitting for a National Championship. The majority of the run will be heavily shaded with wonderful vistas of several of the resorts lakes.
- Directions From I-70 West: take the first Wright City exit (Exit 200), turn left off of the exit, and travel south for five miles on Highway F. Drive time from St. Louis Int'l Airport: ~ 40 minutes
- Directions From I-70 east: Take the first Wright City exit (Exit 199); turn right at the top of the exit; then left on South Outer Road. Make a right at the stop sign, then a right onto Highway F. Continue south on Highway F for five miles. Drive time from Kansas City Int’l Airport: ~ 3 1/2 hours
