All mountain bike categories from beginner to pro. There is also a 6.5 mile trail run before the mountain bike race, and a duathlon category for those who run and bike.
  • Beginners = one, 9 mile loop - (elevations range from 2,900 to 2,600 feet)
  • Sports = two loops
  • Experts = three loops
  • Pros = 3 loops
    Location: This events starts and finishes at the Hemmingway Butte ORV area, 23 miles southeast of Nampa, Idaho

    Course Info: Fun, rolling course with some awesome descents and fairly gentle climbs. A perfect early season race.

    Course Info: The run course is a rolling hills course on dirt and trails. The bike course has one substantial hill and then rolling!
    Directions To Race: The Start of the race is in the Boise North End area. Take I-84 to the Vista exit and then go north on vista to Idaho. Go left on Idaho to 13th and then go right. Follow 13th to Heron and turn left. The park is on the left side just off 12th st. Easy to find.

    Location: The swim begins at Riverfront Marina
    Course Info: (1.5K Swim) Expect to swim a personal record! The swim is current aided. (40k Bike) The bike course is fairly flat out and back with just a few rollers (10k Run) The 10k loop begins with a short steep hill and then levels to a mostly flat course.

    Location: ParkCenter Pond on Parkcenter Blvd

    Course Info: The course is flat easy and short. It is a 1 1/2 loop in the parkcenter area. The finish area is just across the street on parkcenter blvd. Great spectator course and a great beginners event. Spectators can watch the swim and then carefully cross the street to watch the transition and the finish of the event. The run course is out and back on the Boise greenbelt along the Boise River.
    Directions To Race: Take I-84 to the Broadway exit and go north on broadway to Park Ave. Turn right and that will take you to Parkcenter. When you get to the Red Robin you will see the pond on the right. Red Robin is a great place for the after race social. Parking is available on both sides of the street.

    Olympic ::: Swim 1 mile, Bike 24.8 miles, Run 6.2 miles
    Sprint ::: Swim mile, Bike 12.5 miles, Run 3.1 miles
    Location: Rainbow Lake - 25 Miles north of Idaho Falls on I-20
    Course Info: Olympic Distance
  • SWIM: The swim will take place at Rainbow Lake, located just south of Rexburg off of Hwy 20 (GET MAP). The swim will be 1 mile in length and is approximately 1 1/4 times around the lake. Expect water temperatures to be near 65 - 71 degrees. Wet suits are required.
  • BIKE: The bike leg (24.8 miles) will take you on a challenging but fair tour up along the Rexburg bench through the dry farms, down to Sugar City and finally to Porter Park in Rexburg. The course is flat for the first three miles followed by 10 miles of rolling hills and a few good climbs. The final 12 miles is relatively flat. Water will not be provided on the bike leg.
  • RUN: All 6.2 Miles is flat. The course runs along parts of Rexburgs trail system, through several residential areas, around one of the city parks on a loop that will finish back at Porter Park. Water stations will be available every mile.

  • SWIM: The swim will take place at Rainbow Lake, located just south of Rexburg off of Hwy 20. The swim will be 1/2 mile in length. Expect water temperatures to be near 65 - 71 degrees. Wet suits are required.
  • BIKE: The bike leg (12.5 miles) is flat for the first 7 miles followed by a 1/2 mile steady climb and rolling hills for the next 3 miles after that. The final 2 miles is downhill or flat. Water will not be provided on the bike leg.
  • RUN: The 3.1 mile course runs along parts of Rexburgs trail system, through several residential areas on a loop that will finish back at Porter Park. Water stations will be set up at miles 1 & 2.
    Directions To Race:
  • Coming North - 1/2 hour north of Idaho Falls on Hwy 20, take the 1st Rexburg exit, turn left under the Hwy 20 overpass. Turn left at the stop sign and drive 1 mile to Rainbow Lake.
  • Coming South - Take the South Rexburg exit (3rd exit), turn right. At the stop sign, turn left and drive 1 mile to Rainbow lake.
