Location: Chugiak High School
Price: Adult entry fee is $50, with a $9 discount for USAT members. Kids entry is $25. Entry limited to 400 adults and 200 kids.
Course Info: Adult race is a 500 yard pool swim, 20k bike and 5k run. Kids distances vary by age.

Start Time: 10:00 AM
Location: North Shore Wayside
Price: $40 Solo; $100 Team
Course Info: Swim is out and back in Big Lake, wetsuit recommended. Bike is a loop on paved roads. Run a flat out and back on paved path.
Directions To Race: Take Parks Highway to Big Lake turnoff, at the Y stay right on North Shore Drive and follow it to the end of the road, which is the North Shore Wayside Recreational Area.
Also: Parking is limited at the start, and there is a $5 fee for parking. There is a shuttle bus from the finish to the start. Plenty of free parking at the finish.

  • 1000 yard swim at the Kate Kuhns Aquatic Center
  • 15 mile bike from pool up East Hill to Skyline Drive down West Hill and out to the Fishing Hole on the Homer Spit (Helmets will be required for the Bike portion of the race.)
  • 5 mile run from the Fishing Hole to the Homer High School parking lot
  • Open to all ages. This will be an individual Only Triathlon. There are no teams!
