Course Info:

Swim is out and back in Lake Alvin, transistion is in the lower parking lot.

Bike is out and back (south) on black top road with rolling hills.

The run is out and back (north) on black top road that is mostly flat with one gradual hill.

 

More: THIS RACE is a BEST OF THE US qualifier for the STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA. First place SD residents will qualify for the national race to held in Cypress Garden, Florida on October 6th 2007.

There will be a packet pickup at Scheels All Sports store from 4:30-9:00 on Friday 6-15 and late packet pickup the morning of the race at Lake Alvin and limited registration on race day. Early registration is highly recommended.

Awards:

1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals for male and female for each decade.

1st, 2nd and 3rd place for relay teams co-ed, all male and all female.

1st place plaques for overall male and female winners.

 

Directions To Race:

4 miles east of Harrisburg, SD on Lincoln County Road 110

or.... 9 miles south of Sioux Falls on highway 11 until you see the sign for Lake Alvin that says 2 miles east.

A $3 per person or $5 per car will be needed to enter the Lake Alvin parking area or a SD State Parks sticker will get you in free.

Car parking is in the upper parking lot.

Free parking is located east of the park.

Best OF U.S.:  This race is a Best of the US qualifier for the State of South Dakota. First place South Dakota residents (both male and female) will qualify for the national race to held in Cypress Garden, Florida on October 6th, 2007.
