Triathlon Cancelled
Las Vegas, New Mexico: It appears that the long time event, The Las Vegas Triathlon as Storrie Lake, may have been held for the last time in 2006. The race web site for this event is not working at this time, TriFind.com can no longer find any information on this event for 2007. It is not registered as USAT sanctioned, it is not listed on Active.com, SignmeupSPORTS, or CCRTiming. emails are not returned either. We will have to mark this event as cancelled for 2007 unless we receive information otherwise. At this time we are very doubtful it will ever take place again. We have also been informed via email from a local triathlete that "This triathlon has been canceled permanently, according to the director. He said that he was tired of doing it." If anyone else also has reliable info one way or another, please email races@trifind.com. Thank You.
