Ages 7 - 10 ::: Swim 50 yards, Bike 1 mile, Run 1 mile

Ages 11-10 ::: Swim 100 yards, Bike 2 miles, Run 1 mile

Location: Clearwater Middle School

Registration: Register in the Community Ed office @ Bayview

More: You must have your own bike and helmet. Please register early. This event is a collaborative event with Safari Island.

Price: $30 payable to "Community Education" (A $10 late fee will be added after April 15, if there is space available.)

Waconia is located in southern Minnesota, 33 miles west / southwest of Minneapolis

The Youth Triathlon is back by popular demand! This event will crown a girl and boy area triathlon champion in each age category. Swim, Bike and Run, all for fun. The event will take place in the Clearwater Middle School, Safari Island, and on the grounds of Clearwater Middle School and Waconia High School. East participant will receive a T-shirt and treats during the event. Trophies will be awarded to the top finishers. The order of events is swim, bike and run. You must have your own bike and helmet. Please register early. This event is a collaborative event with Safari Island.

Age Divisions: As of May 1, 2004
7 - 10 year olds: Meet in the Clearwater Cafetorium at 8:30 am. Your start time will be 8:45 am.
11 - 14 year olds: Meet in the Clearwater Cafetorium at 9:00 am. Your start time will be 9:15 am.
