Spring Migration Triathlon
- Swim 400 meters, Bike 12.4 miles, Run 3.1 miles
- Location: Emporia State University HPER Building Pool

- Course Info:
- The race organizers reserve the right to change the course due to construction conflicts or severe weather.
- No headphones will be permitted during the race.
- Swim:
- The 400 meter swim portion will be held at the Emporia State University pool.
- Please submit accurate estimated 400 meter swim time for seeding.
- Bike:
- The 20K bike course is very flat and fast.
- An approved helmet must be worn during the cycling portion of the event.
- No drafting will be permitted during the cycling portion.
- Run:
- The 5K run course includes some rolling hills.
- More:
- The individual entry fee is $50*. Entries submitted online after April 11 will be assessed a $10 late fee.
- All participants must be 15 years or older on 04/19/2009.
- There will be no race day registration due to the seeding process.
- This event is USAT Sanctioned. Participants that are not members of USA Triathlon are required to purchase a one-day USAT membership for a fee of $10. This $10 one day USAT membership fee can either be paid at race
day check in or included with triathlon entry payment. USAT members must show proof of membership at checkin. More information on the benefits of USAT membership can be found at www.usatriathlon.org.
- Race day check-in will be at the ESU Physical Education Building from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.
- Race begins at 9:00 a.m. SHARP!
- Awards:
- The top three male and female finishers will receive awards.
- Age group awards are based on entries received by April 13th.
- There will be an award for the first male and female Emporia finisher.
- Raffle drawing following awards presentation.
- Age Groups:
- There will be male and female divisions in each age category.
- The divisions are 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+
