- Course Info: Do not let the name fool you! This is a very hilly course with some freaky climbing both on the bike and on the foot.
- A very hilly bike course and a very hilly run. Long course bike ride turns around in Sylvan Grove, short course turns around at the Dam.
- Open water swim across State Park Cove.
- Bike course is very hilly and will take participants to Sylvan Grove for the long course turnaround (and the Dam for the short course turnaround). Run is also hilly with long course turnaround in Otoe Park Area and short course turnaround at the entrance to Hell Creek Park Area.

- Directions To Race: Lake Wilson is located five miles North of Interstate 70 at the Wilson/Lucas exit.
- Lake Wilson is situated approximately 50 miles between Hays and Salina.
- Half way between Hays and Salina on I-70. Take exit 206 at Highway 232, head north for 8 miles, turn left at entrance to Wilson Lake. Cross the bridge and continue for .7 mile, turn right at entrance to Hell Creek State Park. Continue on the main road, take the 3rd left into Wheatgrass Area.
