Martinsville is in south-central Indiana, 31 miles southwest of Indianapolis, and 139 miles northeast of Evansville

  • Race Description: Race begins with a 500 yard swim in a warm lake. The bike route has several hills to keep it challenging, yet is very manageable if this is your first event. We also threw in a hill on the run route just to make you appreciate your health and the fact that you CAN finish a race like this.

More: This is our 10th year for this non-sanctioned event. It is run by community volunteers in memory of our friend, Jo Bires, who lost her life to cancer. All proceeds of this race are donated to The American Cancer Society and to the Regional Cancer Center's Quality of Life Foundation.
