- This will be the 20th year of this great race that is for the benefit of the Georgia Industrial Children's Home. Awards include T-shirts for all participants and awards for the top 3 finishers in each Age Group, Overall male & female, Master male & female. Post race Food and beverages served to all racers during awards.
- This race was the Hephzibah Triathlon. Hephzibah is no longer involved, so the race name was changed to the Macon Triathlon and all proceeds go to benefit the Georgia Industrial Children's Home.

- Location: Savannah Rapids Pavilion
- Course Info: The Savannah River/Augusta Canal Adventure Race (SRACAR) will again be held along the banks of the Savannah River and Augusta Canal, stretching out into the Savannah River and surrounding areas. Starting at the Savannah River Rapids Pavilion, racers will bike (12-15 miles), transition to canoeing (8-10 miles) then to trekking/running/orienteering (7-10 miles), not necessarily in this order. While racing to the ultimate finish and post race party, racers will locate checkpoints while overcoming strategic obstacles both natural and man made by utilizing basic orienteering skills, brains and brawn. This race will provide for the Advanced and Sport racers to start out side by side, then separate by obstacles specific to their class.

- Course Info: The course for the Chateau Elan Duathlon combines a scenic run through the grounds of the resort with a mildly challenging bike ride on lightly traveled roads surrounding the grounds.
- Directions To Race: Chateau Elan is located 40 minutes north of Atlanta, off I-85 at Exit 126. From the South, take I-85 north to Exit 126 (Hwy 211). Turn left at the top of the ramp and proceed to the entrance of Chateau Elan, about a quarter mile on the left. From South Carolina, take I-85 south to exit 126 (Hwy 211). Turn right at the top of the ramp & proceed a few hundred yards to the Chateau Elan entrance on the left.
