Race Info: The team race will include (approximately)
  • 1.5 mile run (pavement)
  • 2+ miles by canoe
  • 3 miles by bike (1/2 on dirt roads, ½ on pavement)
  • All teams start and finish with the same partners.
  • If conditions warrant, teams will race in heats.
  • Teams will only have to race once.
  • Teams must furnish their own bikes.
  • More: Co-age teams must have one member over 18 • T-shirts for each participant • Trophy to class winners
    Directions To Race: Northwest of Lansing: I-96 exit 90 (I-69 exit 81) then two miles west on Grand River Ave., 2.5 miles north on Wacousta Road.

    ENTRY FEE:         $30.00 per team
     

     COURSE INFO:  The 1.5 mile run is on pavement and is mostly flat. The canoe segment, depending on river height, is smooth. You might have some nature obstacles to go around. The bike section is 1.5 miles on pavement and 1.5 miles on dirt roads. Must furnish own bikes, some canoes are available, must start and finish with same partner.

    Flood: The triathlon will be postponed to June 11th if the river floods. Rain or shine.
