- Course Info: The runs are mostly on off-road trails with short sections of asphalt. Trails are mostly flat with a couple of short hills and will be (1 mile) laps for the 2 & 3 mile distances. The bike course is slightly undulating with a nice, smooth surface and great shoulders. Please stay to the right of the white fog lines. The bike is an out and back turning around at the bottom of Charles Hill Rd. No follow cars will be allowed on the bike course for the safety of the racers as well as normal traffic on the roadways.
- Directions To Race: From East or West I-90, take the Maple St. Exit and drive North up to Francis St. (approx. 5 miles). Take a left turn (traveling West) on to Francis which is also Hwy. 291 and follow to Nine Mile Falls. Take a left turn at the Dam and the start is at Sontag Park, just a short distance from the Dam on the right.
- Parking will be available along the Nine Mile School parking lots. Sontag Park will be reserved for the race and athlete transition traffic only. There is plenty of parking at the schools.

- Course Info: Kids Triathlon - The 5th Annual HOTS Kids' Tri. This race is FOR THE KIDS! Parents or legal guardians must be present for the kids to participate. No exceptions.
- Swim: A safe, supervised shallow course close to shore Quartermaster Harbor. The temperature close to shore has been between 63-67 in past years.
- Bike: Great loop course. Low, rolling almost flat. Closed to traffic
- Run: On the Burton Loop, a very gentle run, and closed to traffic during the Kids' Tri.
