The course will include a 500 meter open water swim along the shore front, 28k bike along the rural roads surrounding the park which include rolling hills and challenging climbs, and finally the 5k run along the lake levy will be mostly soft/smooth/fine gravel road.

FROM AUSTIN: Get to I-35 and Head South towards San Antonio. 3 miles south of the outlet mall take exit 195 (Watson Lane). Then cross over the interstate and continue south on the access road for about a 1/4 mile and TSR will be on your left!
