- Course Info: This Triathlon consists of a ½ mile swim in the indoor pool followed by a 20 Kilometer bicycle ride on beautiful rolling hills, followed by a 5 kilometer run on the streets surrounding The Summit. The Duathlon consists of a 5K run, 20K bike, 5K run.

Big Sky State Games Triathlon
- Swim 800 meters, Bike 9.9 miles, Run 3.1 miles
- Location: Lake Elmo State Park, Billings, MT
- Course Info: 800m swim in small lake (2 x 400m laps with 100m beach run between laps). Water temperature typically in the high 60's F to low 70's F. The 16K bike course is through a suburban area with one long gadual climb. The out-and-back 5K is run on dirt trails, beach sand, gravel, & pavement.
- More: Open to residents of the state of Montana. Non-residents MAY be able to participate, but must contact the Big Sky State Games office.

- Sunday July 24, 2005 ::: Big Sky, Montana: Moonlight Basin Off Road Triathlon- A Nissan Xterra USA Championship Series Race
- Swim 1000 yards, Mountain Bike 14 miles, Run 5 miles
- Location: Ulrey's Lake at Moonlight Basin Resort

- Course Info: Two lap, 1000yd swim in Ulrey's Lake (wetsuit required), followed by a 3/4 mile trail run to your bike. 14 mile scenic Mtn bike (not technical, just a buttburner) rolling thru Moonlight Basin and climbing one of the ski runs. 5 mile (2 lap) run on snowshoe trails from Madison Lodge around Ulrey's Lake.
- Directions To Race: 45 miles south of Bozeman, MT on highway 191, turn up highway 64 in Big Sky and follow the signs 11 miles up to Moonlight Basin

Garden City Triathlon
- Swim 1500 meters, Bike 24.9 miles, Run 6.2 miles
- Start Time: 9.00 am
- Location: Frenchtown Pond State Park, 13 miles west of Missoula
- Course Info: Olympic Distance (1.5 Km swim; 40Km bike; 10Km run)
- Swim: 1.5 Kilometers - Two counter-clockwise loops with a 50 yard beach sprint in between. Provided swim cap must be worn.
- Bike: 40 Kilometers - Course is rolling with two turn arounds. Helmet Required. Drafters shot on site by motorcycle patrol.
- Run: 10 Kilometers - Mixed roads with a sizable hill. 2 aid stations on course. Race number must be worn on front side.
- Kids Race:
- Kids Triathlon immediately after the last adult finishes. Participants need a BMX or Mtn. Bike, helmet, running shoes, and swimming equipment. Distances will be age appropriate. All finishers will receive an award and the winning boy and girl will win special prizes. Cost will be $5 per kid. Formore information please call Jeff at 406.549.2308
