Mountain bike course is single track, lots of quad-busting climbs with awesome descents. Run is held on both road and Dakota Nature Trail, hilly terrain. Nothing flat here.

Long course turns around in Lucas, short course turns around at the Dam. Run is hilly. Long course turns around at Otoe Park pay station, short course turns around at entrance to Hell Creek State Park.
- Directions To Race: Take Hwy 232 north out of the town of Wilson, turn left (west) at the Wilson State Park entrance. Follow this road over the Hell Creek bridge then turn right at the Hell Creek State Park entrance. Follow this road to Wheatgrass Area. Lots of signs you can't get lost.
