  • Starting from the Miami Seaquarium parking lot, participants will run on a very scenic and magnificent running route overlooking Biscayne Bay/Virginia Beach Southside Beach across from Rickenbacker Causeway. Running course is fast, flat and straight out and back on asphalt. Course is closed to traffic. Ocean swim is at Biscayne Bay across from the Miami Seaquarium. Post Race festivities packed with food and prizes courtesy of Event Sponsors. Moreover, bring your family and kids for a wonderful Sunday and extend the Fun and Entertainment by visiting the Miami Seaquarium!
    Directions To Race: The Miami Seaquarium is located at 4400 Rickenbacker Causeway, Miami, FL. From I-95 south take the Key Biscayne/Rickenbacker Causeway exit. On the second traffic light make a left, crossing Brickell Avenue in the direction of Key Biscayne island entrance (Toll US$ 1,00). After the Toll keep going straight on Rickenbacker Causeway. Miami Seaquarium will be on your right hand side 1 mile after you pass the main bridge.

After a refreshing start to your race, you along with every other athlete, get to park take in the only triathlon in America that runs its triathletes underneath A1A. After this unique transition from the swim finish in the highly aesthetic Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, the biking portion awaits you. This Fort Lauderdale course bikes you through some of the most prominent areas that have garnered this city's reputation as the "Venice of America."     Course Info: On Sunday, come to CB Smith for the revival of the old Chilly Whilly Triathlon! This triathlon features a .25 mile swim, followed by a 11 mile bike with no road crossings and an entire lane closed to traffic, then finishes with a 3.3 mile closed course run. The bike course starts around the outer lane of the street inside the park and exits south on Flamingo to Pines. Riders will head west on Pines to the first right turn and continue staying on the right as they circle around the outside of the park. We turn right at all intersections and all roads have 2 or more lanes, so the course is extremely safe even though it goes outside of the park. The bike course is 5.5 miles and we will do 2 laps. The run course goes along the inner lane of the street around the lake. There will be 2 laps here as well to make 3.3 miles.

    Course Info: 1,000 meter swim in a large inlet off the Intracoastal Waterway. Scenic, flat, fast straight out and back 5K running course on asphalt inside the park.
    Directions To Race: The Park is located at 3400 NW 163rd Street, North Miami, FL. From I-95 exit on State Road 826, going East. This street will turn into 167th Street. Proceed East until you cross US1/Biscayne Blvd. Watch for signs as the park will be on your right hand side. Admission fees into the Park are not included in the Event Registration Price. The park fees are as follows:
  • $3.00 per single person car
  • $5.00 per two to eight person car.
  • $1.00 per extra person (after the eight)

    Course Info: The BEAR takes place in and around Hanna Park, Atlantic Beach, Florida -- A great multisport adventure and a great celebration of achievement. Two-person and three-person teams compete together to complete each segment of the course, crossing the finish line as a team. The order and distance of each leg is not revealed until the race itself and mystery tests are just that -- mysteries until teams reach them. The BEAR is a test of teamwork, camaraderie, clear thinking, willpower, and determination under pressure -- open to everyone: accomplished athletes, those serious about their fitness, and even weekend warriors. There are no pre-qualifications. Athletes of all experience and fitness levels are encouraged to participate. The bike ride will end at Epcot, the site of the bike-run transition. The 10K run will take place at Epcot and culminate with a lap around the World Showcase Lagoon, past Spaceship Earth, and finish outside the Epcot main entrance.
