  • 19 Consecutive years of... The Series… The Weekends… The Destinations…!
  • The Series… It has been many things to many different people. For some it has been the platform to stardom, such athletic legends as Lance Armstrong, Scott Tinley, Karen Smyers, and Jan Ripple were all former athletes in The Series. For others it has been the joyful bliss of years worth of bragging rights after out-sprinting their friends and family to the finish line. The Weekends… Those precious days between Thursday and Monday have always been the ultimate “mini vacations” for everyone involved with Publix Family Fitness Weekend presented by Dasani. We offer the best triathlons and duathlons for adults and kids, plus we make our weekend extravaganzas even larger with our 5K run, open water swim, and in-line skate series. Something for the athlete in every one of you is at your fingertips. We also know some people just want to be a spectator, and with the help of all of our sponsors we ensure everyone in attendance has breakfast, lunch, and an exceptional celebrati! on filled with beer, wine, and great times. The Destinations…Our list of past destinations spells out like “Kokomo”. Everywhere has been paradise. We’ve swum underneath the Southern Cross in the Bahamas, rolled our bicycles through the lush green mountain sides in Georgia, and ran through almost every beach in the state of Florida. If the destination looks great, we will be there and will make it even better.

More: Welcome to the 19th Annual Publix Family Fitness Weekend presented by Dasani.
  • The Weekends… Those precious days between Thursday and Monday have always been the ultimate “mini vacations” for everyone involved with Publix Family Fitness Weekend presented by Dasani. We offer the best triathlons and duathlons for adults and kids, plus we make our weekend extravaganzas even larger with our 5K run, open water swim, and in-line skate series. Something for the athlete in every one of you is at your fingertips. We also know some people just want to be a spectator, and with the help of all of our sponsors we ensure everyone in attendance has breakfast, lunch, and an exceptional celebration filled with beer, wine, and great times.
  • The Destinations…Our list of past destinations spells out like “Kokomo”. Everywhere has been paradise. We’ve swum underneath the Southern Cross in the Bahamas, rolled our bicycles through the lush green mountain sides in Georgia, and ran through almost every beach in the state of Florida. If the destination looks great, we will be there and will make it even better.
Directions To Race: While traveling along I-75 take exit 210(SR-780)west. Road name will change to Fruitville Rd. Turn left on US-41(south). Turn right on (SR-789) John Ringling Blvd. At the roundabout take second exit. Bear left onto Ben Franklin Dr. You will see transition on your right after a couple hundred yards.
