Saturday, April 03, 2004 ::: Corvallis, Oregon: Beaver Freezer Sprint Triathlon: Swim 500 yards, Bike 11.4 miles, Run 3.1 miles; Location: Langton Pool, Oregon State University; Course Info: The Beaver Freezer Triathlon is a community event that attracts about 200 participants from throughout the Willamette Valley, and even from out of state. It has been the Triathlon Club's annual fundraising event for the past eight years. Participants swim 500 yards, bike 11.4 miles, and then run 3.1 miles. Experience varies from first-time triathletes to veterans; age groups range from 14-and-under to 70-plus; and there are road bike, mountain bike, and relay categories; 1998-2004 Results at: oregonstate.edu
