- Swim: 68-78 degrees expected water temperature. wetsuits recommended. ~ International Distance: (2) 750 meter loops, Sprint Distance: (1) 750 meter loop
- Bike: Flat and fairly fast with a few rolling hills. ~ International distance course goes north State Route 445 to the turnaround at Warrior Point, then heads south passed the marina to the turnaround at the junction of State Route 445/446, before returning to the marina. Sprint course goes north on State Route 445 to the half way turnaround point, then returns to the marina.
- Run: Flat and Fast. Loop course goes south of the Marina via pavement and an old railroad grade. International Distance: (2) 5 km loops Sprint Distance: (1) 5 km loop
- Directions To Race: Just 33 miles north of Reno on State Route 445. From I-80, take the Pyramid Way exit #19 and proceed north.

- Packet pick up: Packet pick up and expo will be on Saturday October 16th in the grass area of the Ritz Carlton from 11:00AM- 5:00PM. There will be maps available to view and we will have race briefings every Ѕ hr on the hour. Then come join us and relax later that evening for live jazz underneath the stars from 6:00PM- 9:00PM.

- Course Info: Both distances will start at the base of the MonteLago Village.
- Swim Course: Sprint: .75k • International: 1.5k • Both swims will go under the Ritz Carlton Bridge and then end at the Monte Lago Village. • This will be a wave start, and the water will be great with an approximate temp in the mid 70’s. • You may rent Orca wetsuits at LV Cyclery. - Bike Course: Sprint: 20k • International: 40k • Both distances will do the following: After you leave the transition area located just 10ft from the water, you will ride down cobblestone streets of the MonteLago Village and complete ONE big loop around the awesome Lake Las Vegas Resort. You will proceed out of the resort and down into Lake Mead National Recreation Area. This is an absolutely beautiful course all the way through, ENJOY the scenery! • You will get to your respective turnarounds and head back into the Resort where you will ride back down the cobblestone streets of the village and rack your bike. • Note: Bike helmets are mandatory! No Helmet, No Race, No Exceptions! • There will be no aid stations on bike course so bring plenty of fluids, and gel etc. • USAT rules apply, i.e. no drafting etc. Cyclists must remain a minimum of two bike lengths behind another cyclist unless overtaking that cyclist. A violation will result in a disqualification or time assessment. There will be draft marshals.
- Run Course:Sprint: 5k • International: 10k (this is the same run course for the 10k race as well.) • Run through the MonteLago Village on cobblestone streets and through the Ritz Carlton Bridge; make a right on MonteLago road, and head toward the hills for a cool trail run. • You will get to your respective turnarounds and head back the same way, through the Ritz Carlton Bridge and finish on the exit of the bridge. • Note: All race numbers must be worn and visible on the front of you, either by affixing race bib to your shirt or by using a number belt. Aid stations will be at every Ѕ mile. (Water and replenishment drink)
- USAT Information: This is a USAT sanctioned race. You must be a member AND have your membership card with you OR pay a one-day event fee of $9 at packet pickup. Someone else may NOT pick up your packet for you.

Turn left into Lake Las Vegas At the second stop sign, turn right into MonteLago Village Resort. The entrance to the resort is just past Casino MonteLago on the left.
