Spectators can watch from bank to see race unfold. The bike begins with rolling hills, including a climb through the center of camp. It finishes with a long,flat sprint to camp. The 5 mile run goes along Pelican Lake and concludes at Castaway's beach.; Directions: From Minneapolis, take State Hwy 94 to Fergus Falls. Go north on State Hwy 59 towards Detroit Lakes. Eight miles before Detroit Lakes, look for County Hwy 20 and turn left. Go about 2.5 miles and turn left on County Hwy 31. Castaway Club will be on your right.; More: Castaway Club is now offering overnight lodging the night before the race.
