- Course Info: The Beaver Freezer Triathlon is a community event that attracts about 200 participants from throughout the Willamette Valley, and even from out of state. It has been the Triathlon Club's annual fundraising event for the past eight years. Participants swim 500 yards, bike 11.4 miles, and then run 3.1 miles. Experience varies from first-time triathletes to veterans; age groups range from 14-and-under to 70-plus; and there are road bike, mountain bike, and relay categories

- Course Info: The 500 meter swim (10 laps) is in an indoor pool. The biking route (quite a few hills) is starting in Stayton going to the east side hills of Sublimity, OR and back to Stayton pool. The run is a flat out and back course. No water stations on the bike
- Directions To Race: In Salem take exit #253 Hwy #22 (off of I-5). Go east to Stayton 12 miles. Exit off of Hwy #22 at Stayton/Sublimity exit. Turn right on to Cascade Hwy, go straight through intersection (road turns into 1st ST). Keep going on 1st St about 1 1/2 miles, turn right onto Virginia St. Go about 1 1/2 blocks, turn left knto the Stayton City Complex. Stayton Memorial Pool is located in the complex.
