CANCELLED!! Sunday, May 18, 2003 Plattsmouth, Nebraska: Beaver Lake Triathlon
Swim 500 yards, Bike 12 miles, Run 3 miles
Start Time: 8 AM sharp
Location: Beaver Lake Clubhouse Beach
Course Info: The race begins with a 500 yard swim in Beaver Lake. The bike leg covers portions of the Beaver Lake area and Highway 75, between Plattsmouth and Murray, Nebraska. The final leg consists of a 3 mile run, over rolling hills, through the Beaver Lake community neighborhood.
Directions To Race: Take Highway 75 south from Omaha to Rock Bluff Road (south of Plattsmouth). Turn east and take Rock bluff road to Clubhouse Road. Turn right on to Clubhouse road and take it all the way to the club house parking lot. Maps will be provided on the Beaver Lake Triathlon web site. The race site is 20-25 miles south of Omaha.
Water temperatures are expected to be 60-65 degrees. A wet suit is recommended. A swim cap is required. However, only a limited number will be available at the race site. Bring one if you can. Entries are non-refundable. However, please review the entry transfer policy on the race web site.

This Duathlon is sure to test your mettle! Set in scenic Pioneers Park, the course varies from hard surfaces to trails, and travels over the park's rolling hills.
(Lincoln is in eastern Nebraska, 58 miles southwest of Omaha)
