Competitors then race down scenic Bayou Tortue Road for a 20 mile bike. The bike course consists of a mostly flat route with some rolling hills and challenging turns. Leaving the bike/run transition, competitors will complete the triathlon with a flat 3.1 mile run on the airport grounds. The swim start is adjacent to the transition area. You will start at this location swim counter clock-wise and exit the water as we have done in the past (on the barge). We have also increased the time between wave starts. This should allow for a much safer and less congested swim.; Directions To Race: : Race site (Airport Lake) is located off Hwy. 90 South (S.E.
