Two-person and three-person teams compete together to complete each segment of the course, crossing the finish line as a team. The order and distance of each leg is not revealed until the race itself and mystery tests are just that -- mysteries until teams reach them. Saturday - Sunday, November 1 - 2 , 2003 Tampa, Florida: Toyota Tundra Adventure Racing Series Championship: The Championship course will consist of trails from all three of the major sites that make up the park, - Morris Bridge, Flatwoods and Trout Creek. Although relatively flat, the trails do include a number of switchbacks and technical sections full of nasty palmetto roots. Bottom line...It can be fast, as long as you know what you are doing! The river and creek system that flows through the park will make up a quality kayak course. Paddlers will more than likely spend time on the Hillsborough River, Trout Creek, and Cow House Creek. Trout Creek in particular is tight and narrow, making for some challenging yet scenic paddling. The run course will include sections on the bike trails, hiking trails and fire roads.
