Course Info: This is a grueling half Ironman beginning with the rough water swim in the La Jolla Cove. The bike is one of the most scenic in the country winding through the hills of North County and coming back down the world famous Pacific Coast Highway. The run takes you through La Jolla and up in to the beautiful Torrey Pines State Park and back.
Directions To Race: From 5 north, take Ardath into La Jolla. Turn right on Prospect and right on Coast Blvd.From 5 South, go west on La Jolla Village Drive, left on North Torrey Pines and follow above directions

This event is packed with celebrities, professional athletes and some of the world's most incredible challenged athletes who will challenge themselves on this grueling course to raise money for the Challenged Athletes Foundation. This year marks the 10th Anniversary of this event which launched the Challenged Athletes Foundation, a non profit organization that provides grants to athletes with a disability so that they can pursue sports and physical fitness. This is a mountain bike 'ride&tie' relay event where two person teams share a mountain bike and complete a 7-mile off road course
Location: Olmstead Mountain Bike Trail in the town of Cool, CA
Course Info: The course features four special 'Challenge Stations' requiring balance, agility, critical thinking and strategic teamwork. Teammates will transition from biker to runner at each Challenge Station so both complete each Challenge Station. Hidden objects offering time-saving bonuses if transported to the finish line will be scattered along the route. The venue is the popular Olmstead Mountain Bike Trail in the town of Cool, CA. The route is a mix of wide fire roads and moderately technical single track in the spectacular Auburn State Park.
