Ritchie Named to Timex Multisport Team

Tallmadge, Ohio Josh Ritchie, 30, of Tallmadge, Ohio has recently been added as a member of the prestigious Timex Multisport Team. The Timex Multisport Team consists of a blend of professional, elite, and amateur athletes that will participate and have a significant presence at a number of the nation’s premier athletic events in 2005. Mr. Ritchie will begin his involvement with the team with a four day team orientation and training workshop at the Inaugural Ironman Arizona in Tempe, AZ in April. A number of the Timex Multisport Team members will also be competing in this Ironman Triathlon distance race According to Keith Meyer, Team Manager, “Josh will be a welcomed addition to the team”. Coming off a very successful race season in 2004 that saw Mr. Ritchie was crowned as the USAT Duathlon National Age Group Champion. In addition, he broke the record as the Age Group Champion at the always challenging Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon in California. With a past accomplishments of being a High School and NCAA Cross Country All American, combined with being a USAT Duathlon and Triathlete All American, and appearances in the Duathlon World Championship, Mr. Ritchie brings a solid competitive background to the team.
